We offer a wide variety of classes for athletes, ages 3 and up. From forward rolls and cartwheels to advanced skills such as fulls and beyond, we’ll be your partner in discovering your capabilities.

Tumbling Class Options Offered at AKGHC

Intro To Tumbling

Ages 6+

Perfect for beginners, this class focuses on foundational tumbling shapes, body positions, balance, flexibility, and introductory skills. Athletes will build strength, coordination, and confidence while learning basics such as rolls, bridges, handstands, and cartwheels.

Level 1 Basics

Ages 6+

Athletes continue developing strong fundamentals while learning beginning tumbling and core Level 1 skills. Focus is placed on body control, flexibility, and proper technique for progressing safely.

Level 1 Intermediate

Ages 6+

This class introduces athletes to more advanced Level 1 tumbling skills and combinations, including limbers and back walkovers. Athletes will continue improving flexibility, strength, and skill consistency.

Level 1 Advanced

Ages 6+

Designed for athletes ready to refine and connect advanced Level 1 skills. Tumblers will work on front and back walkovers, round offs, and advanced transitions while building power and technique for Level 2 progressions.

Level 2 Basics

Ages 6+

Athletes begin developing explosive power and technique for beginner flipping skills, including back handsprings. Emphasis is placed on proper drills, shapes, technique, and confidence.

Level 2 Intermediate

Ages 6+

This class focuses on strengthening and connecting back handspring skills while introducing more advanced Level 2 combinations and series tumbling. Athletes continue building power, timing, and control.

Level 2 Advanced

Ages 6+

Athletes work on advanced Level 2 tumbling skills including front tumbling and connected specialty passes. Focus remains on strong technique, consistency, and preparation for level 3 skills.

Level 3/4

Ages 6+

Designed for athletes ready for level 3 skills and advanced tumbling passes. Athletes will work on tucks, aerials, punch fronts, layouts and connected running tumbling while continuing to build power, height, and technique.

Supplemental Classes

Ages 6+

Supplemental classes are a great addition for athletes looking to build power, prevent injuries, and/or progress their skills faster. Both weekly class times are included when enrolling in a supplemental class.

Options for supplemental classes are Flex, Strength, and Jumps.
